About the Authors:
Charles Fried is a prominent American jurist and lawyer. He served as United States Solicitor General from 1985 to 1989. He is currently a professor at Harvard Law School.
Professor Gregory Fried has taught ethics, political philosophy, and the history of philosophy at the University of Chicago, Boston University, California State University Los Angeles, and, most recently, Suffolk University, where he is also Chair of the Philosophy Department.
Professor Gregory Fried together with his father, Charles Fried,are the authors of Because It Is Wrong: Torture, Privacy and Presidential Power in the Age of Terror an exploration of moral, legal, and political questions in post-9/11 world.
